Yes, readers, the curiosity is my own. There was little response to my "palate' blog, and none to Chile; 5 years on. Thus, I invite you to request topics I could cover from my 44 years of traveling the world of wine.
In the meantime, a quiz of sorts, to help me identify how much curiosity/interest there is out there.
The first question is merely a "primer." Too easy, but hopefully it gets you in the mood.
Only two bottle fermented wines are named for their place of origin. Which are they ?
Approximately, or definitely, how many bubbles are there in a sealed bottle of champagne ?
Now, I must give you a heads-up to question three. It is, that I asked this question of 8,802 wine students to my wine workshops over 15 years. I retired from teaching following student 8,803, without hesitation, giving the correct answer.
The question: All bottle fermented wine, no matter where produced, have just one thing UNIQUELY in common. What is it ?
Read the question well before making your decision.
Let's read from you!
George
dont leave us hanging on the number of bubbles and the question of commonalit!
